The Bill and Mary Russell Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for those pursuing educational opportunities toward a career in nursing or a health care field (clinical or patient care). At least fifty percent of the awarded funds will support nursing scholarships. Remaining funds will be awarded to those pursuing educational opportunities in other clinical or patient care programs. Applicants must reside within the Heartland Foundation service region, which includes Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and The Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association (CSHEMA) offers an annual scholarship in the amount of $2,000 to encourage the study of environmental and occupational health, safety, and related disciplines. The program is open to all college undergraduate and graduate students in all majors/disciplines enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester. The scholarship winner is also invited to attend the CSHEMA annual conference (registration, hotel, and airfare included).
